Riverfront Music Series - Desperados (Eagles Tribute)

Head down to Riverfront Park on Wednesday evenings this summer to enjoy some great music through the annual Riverfront Music Series! This annual series is co-hosted by the Town of Glastonbury and the CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce. These FREE concerts are held at the field behind the Riverfront Community Center (300 Welles Street) at 6:30 PM on the Wednesday evenings noted below.
This year, we’re pleased to offer 3 incredible Headliner concerts (in bold below) in July as well as performances by the Town Band throughout the summer. The 2026 concert series was carefully curated to bring you three incredibly talented and experienced headliners so this year’s set is sure to be among our best concert series ever! - July 15 – Legend (Journey Tribute) (rain date is July 16)
- July 22 – The Stevie Experience (Stevie Nicks Tribute) (rain date is July 23)
- July 29 – Town Band (Inside the Riverfront Community Center Community Room)
- August 5 – Town Band (Inside the Riverfront Community Center Community Room)
*In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be held the following day. Such decisions will be announced through the Town website (events calendar and eNotifications) and through the Town/Chamber of Commerce Facebook pages. You can also call the Parks & Recreation info-line at 860-652-7689 to learn the concert status the night of.
Family Friendly Fun!
These FREE concerts are family-friendly and pet-friendly (must be on leash per Town ordinance). You’re welcome to bring picnic blankets and chairs to comfortably enjoy the shows on the Riverfront lawn. Bring your own food and beverages. We also strongly encourage you to bring hats, sunblock, and tick/mosquito repellent to protect yourself and your family from the summer elements.
Food and Craft Vendors (Featured Concerts Only)
Bring your own food and beverages or grab a bite to eat from one of the on-site food vendors. Several craft vendors will also be available with locally produced fares for your shopping pleasure.

Parking and Shuttle Service (Featured Concerts Only)
To support efficient traffic flow before and after the concerts, please carpool with friends/family as possible and consider utilizing the complimentary shuttle service. Shuttles will pick up from the Dog Park parking lot (200 Welles Street) and the Ss. Isidore and Maria Parish parking lot (2577 Main Street) and drop off at the Riverfront Community Center fairgrounds throughout the evening. Shuttle service runs from 5:45 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The Riverfront Community Center parking lot will be available on a first-come, first served basis, with designated handicap parking spots as well.
Residents are also invited and encouraged to bike or walk to the concerts. Free parking is available at the Town Hall/Academy campus and you can then follow the walking trail through the Dog Park and over to Riverfront Park (roughly a half a mile). Bike racks are also available at the Riverfront Park baseball field, the Glastonbury Boathouse, and the RCC on a first-come, first served basis.
Restrooms
This year, the Riverfront Community Center will be open for concert goers to access the indoor restroom facilities.
A select number of portable toilets will also be available on the fairgrounds.

The Riverfront Music Series is made possible thanks to local sponsors, and the Town/Chamber are currently seeking supporters for the 2026 concerts. A range of sponsorship packages are available to accommodate all interest levels, all of which provide fantastic brand-building opportunities throughout the summer. Food Drive
The Town will be accepting non-expired, non-perishable food donations for the Glastonbury Food Pantry during the Riverfront Music Series. Attendees are encouraged to bring an item or two to help support local families in need while enjoying an evening of great music. Please bring any donations to the Blue Parks & Recreation tent.
