Parks and Recreation Fun Finder!

The Parks and Recreation Fun Finder application helps citizens locate all the Town of Glastonbury parks, fields, facilities, and trails. Simply enter the address or click on the map to get more locations. You can search by park, field, or facility name in the search box or filter desired amenities/activities.

The application also allows users to view hiking and walking trails on their PC, tablets, or smartphone. It includes trail facts, Passport to Parks locations, Poetry in the Parks locations, downloadable maps, the ability to create your own trail map, create an elevation profile and a “find my location” tool to use when you’re out on a trail.

Located on Forest Lane in East Glastonbury, Butler field includes two baseball fields that are used primarily by the Glastonbury Little League. The parcel adjoins the Eastbury Pond Recreation area which can be accessed from the Butler field via a trails through the woods. Please note that the trail traverses a short but fairly steep slope.

Directions 
Route 2 East to Exit 10. At end of exit ramp take a left onto Manchester Road. Stay on Manchester Road for 1 to 1 ½ miles. Take a right onto Forest Road. Stay on Forest Road for 1 mile or so and park will be on your left.

Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Manchester Road and follow the above directions.
