Parks and Recreation Fun Finder!

The Parks and Recreation Fun Finder application helps citizens locate all the Town of Glastonbury parks, fields, facilities, and trails. Simply enter the address or click on the map to get more locations. You can search by park, field, or facility name in the search box or filter desired amenities/activities.

The application also allows users to view hiking and walking trails on their PC, tablets, or smartphone. It includes trail facts, Passport to Parks locations, Poetry in the Parks locations, downloadable maps, the ability to create your own trail map, create an elevation profile and a “find my location” tool to use when you’re out on a trail.

A large pond used for swimming in the summer, fishing in the spring, and ice skating in the winter. The park is a popular destination for parents with toddlers and small children because of its gradually sloped, sandy beach. The pond is fed by Roaring Brook which is a state stocked watercourse for fishing. A handicapped accessible fishing pier is available. Directions
Route 2 East to Exit 10. At end of exit ramp take a left onto Manchester Road. Stay on Manchester Road for 1 to 1 ½ miles. Take a right onto Fisher Hill Road. Eastbury Pond is just down the hill on your left.

Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Manchester Road and follow the above directions.
