Parks and Recreation Fun Finder!
The Parks and Recreation Fun Finder application helps citizens locate all the Town of Glastonbury parks, fields, facilities, and trails. Simply enter the address or click on the map to get more locations. You can search by park, field, or facility name in the search box or filter desired amenities/activities.
The application also allows users to view hiking and walking trails on their PC, tablets, or smartphone. It includes trail facts, Passport to Parks locations, Poetry in the Parks locations, downloadable maps, the ability to create your own trail map, create an elevation profile and a “find my location” tool to use when you’re out on a trail.

Access and parking for the Addison Bog and woodlands is located at Smith Middle School. This nature area includes hiking trails, as well as, several unique natural areas including vernal pools, a bog and the Salmon Brook Streambelt. Directions
Route 2 East to Exit 4B. At end of exit take a left onto Griswold Street. Stay on Griswold Street for a couple of miles. After a sharp curve you come to a stop sign. Take a left at the stop sign. Continue on to the next stop sign. Take a right onto Addison Road. Follow Addison Road to the four-way intersection and Smith School will be on your left.
Route 2 West to Exit 6. Take a right at the light at the end of the exit ramp. Then take an immediate right at the next light onto Hebron Avenue. Go to the second stop light on Hebron Avenue and take a left onto Eastern Boulevard. Stay on Eastern Boulevard until you come to the four-way intersection with Addison Road. Smith School will be directly in front of you.
