Parks and Recreation Fun Finder!

The Parks and Recreation Fun Finder application helps citizens locate all the Town of Glastonbury parks, fields, facilities, and trails. Simply enter the address or click on the map to get more locations. You can search by park, field, or facility name in the search box or filter desired amenities/activities.

The application also allows users to view hiking and walking trails on their PC, tablets, or smartphone. It includes trail facts, Passport to Parks locations, Poetry in the Parks locations, downloadable maps, the ability to create your own trail map, create an elevation profile and a “find my location” tool to use when you’re out on a trail.

The 49.7 acre park is largely wooded and undeveloped. It features trails for hiking and walking along the Holland Brook. The Glastonbury Pony Club maintains a riding ring in the park and many of the trails are used for horseback riding. The CT Audubon Center is located adjacent to the park entrance. The Center conducts programs in the park and includes animals and displays about the natural environment. Directions 
Route 2 East to Exit 5. Route 2 splits here and Exit 5 is a left hand exit. You will then be on Route 17. Stay on Route 17/Main Street for approximately 1 mile. Earle Park is on your right.

Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a left onto Manchester Road. Go to stop sign and take a right onto New London Turnpike. At the next light take a left onto Chestnut Hill Road. Follow Chestnut Hill Road until the intersection with Main Street. At that light take a right onto Main Street/Route 17. Earle Park is on your right.
