CTDOT Developing Plans to Replace Traffic Signals at State Owned Intersections Across Connecticut

CTDOT shared the following press release regarding planned work in Glastonbury and statewide.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is developing plans to replace traffic signal controllers/cabinets and install cellular modems at select state-owned traffic signals across Connecticut in Berlin, Bloomfield, Cheshire, Cromwell, Durham, East Hartford, Enfield, Glastonbury, Manchester, Meriden, Middletown, New Britain, Newington, Plainville, Rocky Hill, Somers, Southington, South Windsor, Tolland, Vernon, West Hartford and Windsor.
The design plans for this project are expected to be completed in February 2026 with a tentative advertising date for construction of May 2026.
