SMART Recovery comes to Glastonbury!

SMART (Self-Management and Recovery Training) is an evidence-informed recovery program that supports individuals seeking to change problematic or addictive behaviors.

This drop-in group provides a supportive, non-judgmental space for adults looking to build healthier habits and address challenges related to substances, gambling, food, shopping, and other behaviors. The group is open to anyone age 18 and older, and no registration is required.

This program is offered free of charge to Glastonbury residents through a partnership between Glastonbury Youth and Family Services and the Welles-Turner Memorial Library. Sessions will be facilitated by two trained SMART Recovery facilitators, Geralyn and Laurel, who also volunteer with Glastonbury Community Action Partnership (GCAP), the town’s local prevention council.

The group starts February 4, 2026, from 6:00pm-7:00pm and will run every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at the Welles-Turner Memorial Library!
