The Town of Glastonbury would like to make residents and motorists aware that restoration activities are scheduled to begin the weekend of April 11th for the Morgan Drive area, to finalize the project to install fiber-optic communication lines. Restoration activities will include permanent pavement patching for driveways that had asphalt disturbed; and adding topsoil and reseeding vegetated areas that were disturbed.

Construction activities are scheduled to begin within the next two weeks for the installation of fiber-optic lines around the Timbers Road area. The affected roads are Bradley Way, a portion of Founders Road, Bunker Hill Road, Old Musket Road, Rampart Drive, Breeds Hill Road, and a portion of Hanover Fields Road.

The contractor for both projects is Parkside Utility, which is installing fiber-optic lines for Frontier Communications. An update will be provided, with a more detailed schedule.
