5/5/2026 - Stage 2 & 3 Update

Temporary lane shifts have been implemented along Main Street (Rte 17), which allows northbound and southbound traffic to flow through the construction zone without any detours. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area and to expect delays. The hours of active construction are currently 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Town staff will share ongoing project updates, including lane closures and other traffic impacts, through the Town website and other channels as applicable.  A project page with additional details is on the Town website and is accessible at www.glastonburyct.gov/sidewalks. Community members can also receive email updates by subscribing to the Town’s eNotification system. Simply visit www.glastonburyct.gov/enotify and subscribe or update your preferences to include the “Road Work/Construction” category under the News heading.
