CTDOT bridge inspection work on New London Turnpike scheduled for Aug. 26
Lane closures expected 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
GFT Infrastructure, Inc. (formerly TranSystems), under contract with the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT), will conduct a bridge inspection on Wednesday, August 26, involving Route 17 over New London Turnpike (Bridge No. 00870).
Lane closures on New London Turnpike are expected between approximately 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Traffic disruption is expected to be minor. Traffic control will be managed by GFT personnel in accordance with CTDOT work zone safety guidelines.
GFT will coordinate with the Glastonbury Police Department regarding traffic control assistance.
