Bids/RFPs specifications may be viewed and downloaded through the Bid/RFP platform by clicking the button below or by visiting https://glastonburyct.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities. Bid/RFP information can also be obtained from the Glastonbury Purchasing office by request at purchasing@glastonbury-ct.gov. 

Responses will be publicly opened and read aloud in a virtual platform at a location specified at the time and date detailed in the specification. Please contact the Purchasing Department at (860) 652-7588 for additional information. The Town of Glastonbury reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any part of, or the entire bid, when said action is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. All Sealed responses must be submitted electronically no later than the time and date indicated. Late bids/RFPs will not be accepted.

Town of Glastonbury Code of Ethics 

Respondent is required to review the Town of Glastonbury Code of Ethics adopted July 8, 2003 and effective August 1, 2003 and revised October 29, 2013 and effective November 28, 2013.  Respondent shall acknowledge that they have reviewed the document in the area provided on the bid/proposal response page. The selected respondent will also be required to complete and sign an Acknowledgement Form prior to award. Facilities & Maintenance Building Emergency Service Modifications

The Town of Glastonbury is seeking bids for the Facilities Maintenance Building Emergency Services Modifications, 2145 Main Street, Glastonbury, CT 06033. Bids will be received only at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Town Hall (second level), 2155 Main Street, Glastonbury, CT 06033, Attention: Mary F. Visone, Purchasing Agent, no later than the time and date indicated at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No late bids will be accepted.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walk through will be held starting at the Town Facilities offices, Academy Building, 2143 Main Street, Glastonbury, Connecticut on July 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. All bidders must attend in order for their bid to be considered.

The successful Bidder is required to comply with all provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Equal Opportunity Act of 1972, Executive Orders #3, No. 17, 11246, 11375 and 11478. The requirements for Bidders under this contract are explained in the Project Manual including the insurance requirements of the Town of Glastonbury. Contractors shall comply with State Statutes concerning Employment and Labor Practices, where applicable, and Section 31-53 of the Connecticut General Statutes as amended (Prevailing Wage Rates).

This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements.
