Home MenuYouth Advisory Council
Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of 8th-12th graders who represent youth in cooperation with local government. By raising issues and proposing solutions, YAC serves to bridge the gap between teenagers and the community at large.
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) was created to give the youth of Glastonbury an opportunity to provide their valuable input to Town government. This program recruits a broad cross-selection of youth that is representative of the diverse nature of the youth in our community. Youth members are:
- Personally committed to youth programs and ideas
- Accessible to other youth and interested adults
- Good listeners who can provide feedback to Town of Glastonbury staff and officials.
