Please review the following important information to ensure a smooth registration process:
✅ Check Your MyRec Account Access:
Make sure you can log into your MyRec account before registration opens. If you've forgotten your username or password, [CLICK HERE] for instructions on how to recover or reset your account details or contact our office for assistance.
✅ Update Your Household Information:
Confirm that all household members are listed correctly, with accurate ages and grades. If you notice any errors, please call our office to make updates.
Tip: Pay close attention to children currently marked as "N/A" or "PK" who will be entering kindergarten in the upcoming school year and call our office to update their grade level accordingly.

Program Brochure
Brochures are typically mailed directly to ALL Glastonbury residents via bulk mail 3 times per year. When brochures are mailed, they will be available for pick up beginning the Friday prior to each registration at the Riverfront Community Center, Town Hall, Welles Turner Library, and Parks & Recreation office (located in the Academy Building). The Glastonbury Parks and Recreation Online Registration system is a quick, easy and secure way to register for programs. Online registration generally beings at 8:00 a.m. on the scheduled day of each registration. You can also use the system to update family or household information, check availability of spaces in programs and reprint receipts.

About the Department
The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the organization and administration of all Town sponsored recreation activities and facilities. The division is also responsible for the care and maintenance of all Town Parks, open space, municipal grounds, athletic fields, school grounds, street trees, and cemeteries. The Department provides a wide variety of recreation opportunities to enhance the quality of life in Glastonbury. Town sponsored programs, public open space, and recreation facilities work together to meet the diverse needs and interests of the community and its members.
The Parks Division coordinates the care and maintenance of all town owned parks, open space, municipal grounds, athletic fields, school grounds, street trees and cemeteries.
Developed recreation facilities include a skate park, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, a pond suitable for swimming, numerous children's playgrounds, 10 tennis courts, an all weather outdoor running track and synthetic turf field, a covered picnic pavilion, outdoor basketball courts, a 9 hole golf course, picnic areas and numerous athletic fields.
A full time work force is supported with part time and seasonal help as needed. The Parks Superintendent, a State Certified Arborist, also serves as the tree warden.
