The Town of Glastonbury has several outdoor and indoor water facilities available for community enjoyment. All outdoor facilities are open for both residents and non-residents.

Located at Glastonbury High School, the indoor pool has select hours open to residents only for adult and recreation swim. Indoor Season Passes are available for purchase beginning in August each year, with the season running from August/September - June.

- May 10: No Adult Swim due to staff training
- May 11: Adult Swim: Only 4 lanes from 7:30 p.m. until training concludes at ~ 8:15 p.m.

SUMMER POOL SCHEDULES

- NOTE: Outdoor pool hours are adjusted this summer to accommodate programming shifted due to Glastonbury High School Pool closure.

Pool Pass and Daily Fees: Summer and yearly passes go on sale annually on May 1 at 8:00 a.m. Indoor season passes will be available for sale beginning mid-August.
How to Purchase a Pass: All pool passes must be purchased online or in the Parks and Recreation office during regular business hours. Pass sales will not be accepted at the aquatics facilities.

SENIOR POOL PASSES (60+): Senior pool passes are FREE for Glastonbury Residents only. Passes can be obtained Monday - Friday at the Riverfront Community Center and at the Parks and Recreation office. Proof of age and residency must be provided upon registration. Senior passes do not include Eastbury Pond.
EASTBURY POND STICKERS: Vehicular stickers for Eastbury Pond are on sale beginning May 1 of every year and can be done by mail or in-person at the Parks and Recreation office. Stickers may also be purchased at Eastbury Pond during operating hours.

All pool cancellations will be communicated through the Parks and Recreation Weather Cancellation Line at 860-652-7689. Please CLICK HERE to view the Parks and Recreation Weather Cancellation Policy, which is generally followed during the indoor season.
For the outdoor season, updates regarding delayed openings, early closures, or full-day closures will be posted to the Weather Cancellation Line. Short-term closures caused by passing thunderstorms or other matters may not be listed due to rapidly changing conditions. We recommend calling the facility directly for current hours during these situations.
For the most up-to-date information, please call the facility or the Weather Cancellation Line to check for any last-minute closures!
- Children under age 12 must be accompanied with someone 16 years or older.
- Personal flotation devices must be Coast Guard approved and used with an adult swimmer within arms length of the swimmer.
- Children not yet toilet trained must wear a swim diaper or cover a regular diaper with tight fitted rubber pants.
- All persons shall bathe with warm water and soap before entering the water.
- No running, boisterous, or rough play or profanity.
- Spitting or blowing nose in pool is prohibited.
- Non-swimmers are not permitted in the water alone unless they can stand with their head fully above the water.
- Swimmers may be asked to perform a swim teat prior to entering the deep end.
- No food permitted on the pool deck.
- No ball playing allowed.
- Any persons known or suspected of having communicable or infectious disease shall not use the pool.
- Mask, fins, snorkels used at the discretion of the lifeguards.
- No glass containers, food, beverages or gum allowed in the pool area.
- Diving Board Use: One person on the board at a time. Be sure the area in front of the board is clear. No double bouncing, only dive straight off the board.
- No Diving off the pool deck into the deep end.
- Consumption/possession of alcohol and/pr illegal drugs is not permitted on Town property.
- Aquatic staff reserve the right to to close the pool or restrict use whenever the safety or health od patrons is endangered.
- Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the pool facility.
- The Town is not responsible for personal belongings.

- The phones in the lifeguard offices or pool deck are not to be used as a public phone.
- Pets are not permitted in the pool facility or beach area. Dogs on Town property must be leashed or tethered.
- Prolonged underwater breath holding is not permitted.
Host your birthday party at Addison or Grange pool during the summer season! Reservations will run on weekends from June 20 – August 23. Please note that due to the July 4 holiday and increased demand of our facilities, rentals will not be available on Saturday, July 4. You can request online at www.glastonburyct.myrec.com beginning on May 1, 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions
Household pool passes are issued to each individual living at the same address. A household is defined as up to six family members (maximum of 2 adults and 4 children). If your household includes more than six residents, additional passes may be purchased at the Parks and Recreation office for $20 per person. Additional seasonal passes are also available for caregivers who regularly supervise children in the household.
Pool passes can be purchased online or at the Parks and Recreation office during regular business hours (Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
If you are purchasing online, a digital pass will be sent to your email. If you would like a physical key fob, please visit the Parks and Recreation office.
If you are looking to renew your pool pass, your physical tag will reactivate automatically! Whether you purchase the pool pass online, or at the Parks and Recreation office, once you pay for the membership, it will automatically associate it with the passes in your account.
NOTE: You must renew your pool pass in the same account that the key tag is in.
We accept cash, check or credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa) for both daily admission and pool pass sales (Parks and Recreation office only). Eastbury Pond only accepts cash or check!
